Using the calculator on our website you can calculate your company’s carbon footprint very quickly and easily. Simply enter some details in our calculator, such as your consumption of gas and electricity and use of vehicles, public transport and air travel and your footprint is automatically calculated. You can also immediately offset your emissions here. Can I also calculate my carbon footprint as a private individual?
Yes you can. You can use the calculator on our website to calculate your emissions caused by your energy consumption, your use of public transport and your travel by air. You can also immediately offset your emissions via the website.
What does a carbon footprint look like?
If you calculate your carbon footprint on our website, you will see your carbon emissions expressed in an amount of tons per ‘section’. One ton of CO2 represents 1000 kg of CO2 emissions. You can offset 1 ton of CO2 emissions by one carbon credit. For larger companies we can also produce a diagrammatic representation of their carbon footprint. How is the carbon footprint calculated?
For this calculation Climate Neutral Group uses internationally accepted values, mainly from the UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme).
